BAKTI — A Philosophy of Feeling

PiranArt

People remember how a place made them feel.

Not the price of the dish. Not the name on the menu. Not the décor. The feeling. The warmth. The moment when everything slowed down and something beautiful happened.

This is BAKTI.

What Is BAKTI?

BAKTI is not a product line. It is not a marketing concept. It is a philosophy — a way of approaching food, coffee, and hospitality that was born from a simple but radical belief: that every guest deserves an experience they will carry with them long after they leave.

BAKTI was created by three people who refused to accept that food and coffee could be ordinary: Sash Krasnov, Samanta Rejc, and Mama Jožica — each bringing a different mastery, together forming something greater than the sum of its parts.

The BAKTI Approach

In a world of fast consumption, BAKTI moves in the opposite direction. Every element of the BAKTI experience is built on four principles:

  • Handcrafted — nothing industrial, nothing rushed. Every gelato, every coffee, every dish and every pastry is made by hand with full attention.
  • Authentic ingredients — sourced with care, chosen for quality, used at their peak. No shortcuts, no compromises.
  • Artistic presentation — because beauty matters. The way something looks is part of how it tastes.
  • Mediterranean warmth — the unhurried pace of the Adriatic coast, where time slows down and people connect.

BAKTI Gelato

At the heart of BAKTI is gelato — but not gelato as you know it. Sash Krasnov has developed 185 flavours and 5 original plant-based base recipes — entirely dairy-free, entirely handcrafted, entirely unlike anything else on the Slovenian coast.

BAKTI Gelato is organised into collections: Signature, Herbal, Wellness, Tea, Mocktail, Premium Nut, Sugar-Free, and Limited Editions. Each collection is a creative universe — inspired by nature, by culture, by the seasons, by the sea.

BAKTI Pastry

Behind every pastry and baked creation at PiranArt stands Mama Jožica — the fifth generation of female chefs in her family, and the soul of the BAKTI kitchen. Her recipes are not written in cookbooks. They are carried in her hands, passed down through generations of women who cooked with love and precision.

Every bread, every pastry, every dessert that leaves her kitchen is made entirely from scratch — a living expression of a culinary tradition that spans over a century.

BAKTI Specialty Coffee

Samanta Rejc is not just a barista. She is a member of world specialty coffee organisations, a creator of original mocktails, and the operational mind behind PiranArt. Under BAKTI, coffee becomes a conversation.

Every cup is brewed with precision. Every origin is chosen with transparency. Every guest is invited to discover coffee — not just drink it.

The BAKTI Experience

BAKTI is not fast consumption. It is the opposite of fast consumption.

When you sit down at PiranArt, you enter a space designed for slowness — for atmosphere, for conversation, for beauty. The stone walls of one of Piran's most historic buildings. The light from the Adriatic. The sound of the old town. And in the middle of it all: food and coffee made with the kind of care that is increasingly rare in the world.

Every BAKTI location is warm, artistic, elegant, deeply personal. A place where people come not just to eat — but to feel something they will remember.

BAKTI Worldwide

What began on the waterfront of old Piran is now becoming a global movement. BAKTI is expanding — bringing its philosophy of feeling, craft, and beauty to extraordinary new locations around the world.

🇸🇦 BAKTI Jeddah, Saudi Arabia — Opening Soon

In Jeddah, BAKTI is partnering with Ghadeer Ashour — one of Saudi Arabia's most celebrated event and wedding designers, known for her philosophy that "the bride is the boss" and that every detail of a celebration must be a work of art.

Ghadeer's approach to design mirrors the BAKTI philosophy perfectly: nothing generic, nothing rushed, everything tailored to create an experience that guests will never forget. Trained as an interior designer and internationally recognised for her mastery of lighting, venue transformation, and bespoke event curation, she brings to BAKTI Jeddah a vision of hospitality that is deeply personal, visually extraordinary, and emotionally unforgettable.

BAKTI Jeddah will be more than a café or restaurant. It will be a Majlis Club — a space for events, private gatherings, and cultural experiences — alongside a BAKTI Membership Club and the launch of the BAKTI App, bringing the philosophy of feeling into the digital world.

If you are interested in bringing BAKTI to your city, we would love to hear from you.

Why BAKTI Exists

Sash, Samanta, and Mama Jožica created BAKTI because they believed the world needed more places that take beauty seriously. More places where the person making your gelato has spent years perfecting their craft. More places where the barista knows the farmer who grew your coffee. More places where the pastry chef carries recipes passed down through five generations. More places where hospitality is not a service — it is an art form.

From Piran to Jeddah, Cairo, Belgrade, São Paulo, Senegal and Austria — BAKTI is a feeling. A philosophy. A creative movement that is only just beginning.

And wherever BAKTI opens, one thing remains constant: people will remember how it made them feel.
